Our Neroli & Rose Balm Refill Kit makes it easy to reuse your original Skindiy glass jar rather than replacing it. With just a few simple ingredients and a little heat, you can create your own beautiful, nourishing skin balm at home.

Made with organic cold-pressed Jojoba and Passionfruit Seed Oils, locally sourced Beeswax, organic Neroli, Rose Otto, Lavender and Patchouli essential oils, and natural Vitamin E, this luxurious balm helps soften, nourish and protect your skin.

Rich in naturally occurring fatty acids and antioxidants, this beautiful balm helps support your skin's moisture barrier, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and deeply nourished. Its delicate floral aroma comes naturally from the essential oils, with no synthetic fragrances or unnecessary additives.

Each kit makes 2 × 50g refills for your original 60ml Skindiy jar.

What's included

• 1 × 100ml Organic Jojoba Oil (Part 1)

• 1 × Botanical Oil & Vitamin E Blend (Part 2) — organic Passionfruit Seed Oil, Neroli, Rose Otto, Lavender and Patchouli essential oils, and natural Vitamin E

• 2 × Locally Sourced Beeswax Pellets (one for each refill)

• 2 × Replacement Jar Labels

• 2 × Wooden Stirrers

What you'll need

• Your empty 60ml Skindiy Neroli & Rose Balm jar

• A small saucepan

• Water

• A heatproof cloth or suitable tongs

How to make your Neroli & Rose Balm

Step 1 — Prepare your jar

Thoroughly wash your empty Skindiy glass jar with hot, soapy water. The original label should peel away easily when soaked in warm water. Rinse well, sanitise and ensure the jar is completely dry before starting.

Step 2 — Prepare your water bath

Add approximately 2cm of cold water to a small saucepan. Do not turn on the heat just yet.

Step 3 — Melt the beeswax

Place one beeswax pellet into your clean, dry Skindiy jar and carefully place the jar into the saucepan of cold water.

Turn on the heat and gradually bring the water to a gentle simmer. Allow approximately 5–10 minutes for the beeswax to melt completely.

Keep the water level well below the rim of the jar.

Step 4 — Add your Jojoba Oil

Once the beeswax has completely melted, add half of your Organic Jojoba Oil (Part 1), approximately 50ml.

Stir gently over low heat until the beeswax and oil are fully combined and the mixture is completely clear.

Step 5 — Add your Botanical Blend

Turn off the heat and carefully remove your jar from the saucepan using a heatproof cloth or suitable tongs.

Add half of your Botanical Oil & Vitamin E Blend (Part 2), containing organic Passionfruit Seed Oil, Neroli, Rose Otto, Lavender and Patchouli essential oils, and natural Vitamin E.

Stir thoroughly to combine while the balm is still liquid.

Step 6 — Allow to cool

Place your jar on a heat-resistant surface and allow the balm to cool naturally.

Step 7 — Your balm is ready!

As your balm cools, it will change from clear to opaque and gradually firm up. Once completely cooled and set, apply your new label and enjoy your freshly made Neroli & Rose Balm.

Save the remaining ingredients for your second refill.

A few helpful tips

• Always start with cold water and allow the jar to warm gradually.

• Keep the water at a gentle simmer rather than a rolling boil.

• Avoid sudden temperature changes when heating and cooling your glass jar.

• Ensure your jar and utensils are completely dry. Water should never enter your preservative-free balm.

• Never leave your saucepan unattended while heating.

• Handle your jar carefully, as the glass will become hot.

• Always add your Botanical Oil & Vitamin E Blend after removing the balm from the heat, while the mixture is still liquid.

• Store your remaining ingredients tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
